BOL4 and EXO‘s Baekhyun have teamed up to bring tender feelings to eager listeners!
On May 7th at 6 p.m. KST, Bolbbalgan4 (also known as BOL4) dropped a pre-release track, featuring the Baekhyun, for a new album.
“Leo” sings about the fanciful emotions that bubble up as they look at a person who has caught their fascination. Ahn Ji Young, the remaining member after Woo Ji Yoon left the duo in April, and Vanilla Man teamed up to write the song.
BOL4’s upcoming mini-album is entitled Youth Diary II: A Butterfly That Has Seen Flower. The release will include a total of five self-composed and self-written songs from the singer. It follows as an album series after 2019’s Youth Diary I: Flower Energy comeback with its title track, “Bom.” A second title track called “Hug” is set to be introduced soon.
“Leo” immediately shot up the charts upon its release, taking over the number two spot on most real-time charts in Korea. BOL4 and Baekhyun also dominated top Twitter trends worldwide as related hashtags flooded the site.
