BLACKPINK‘s Lisa has officially made her solo debut!
At 1 p.m. KST on September 10th, the famous singer and dancer dropped the MV for her new song, “LALISA.” The song has a fun, upbeat tempo that will have fans dancing along with just one listen as Lisa sings and raps telling people to call her LALISA and to love her. Within no time at all, the video quickly gathered over 10 million views on YouTube as people rushed to see the new MV.
Known not only for her great raps and fierce dance skills, Lisa is also beloved by K-pop fans for her fun attitude and down-to-earth personality. As such, people from all fandoms have been looking forward to seeing what this K-pop queen had in store with her official solo debut. Needless to say, this catchy bop and its fun lyrics perfectly capture the essence of Lisa and will be sure to please listeners. Lisa stated that she hoped this song would show off her strength and confidence and also pointed out that the music video captures the Thai style well.
“LALISA” was written by Teddy Park, 24, and Bekuh Boom. Meanwhile, the single album of the same name also includes a B-track entitled “Money.”
