On October 11th at 6 p.m. KST, girl group Billie pre-released the music video for their B-side track, “trampoline!”
The song showcases a fusion of soul-funk, jazz, and hip-hop elements from the Nu Jazz genre. Its lyrics describe the nostalgia of bouncing on a trampoline as a child, the feeling of fearlessness and freedom that came with it, and holding on to the memories when things get suffocating as an adult.
Billie’s fifth mini-album appendix: Of All We Have Lost will feature a total of six songs. It will be out on October 16th KST.
The group recently held a European tour and is set to kickstart a string of North and South American concerts for “Billlie World Tour ‘Our FLOWERLD (Belllie’ve You)” this November.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, XG, and KISS OF LIFE to whoever cared to listen.
