BEAST‘s Yong Junhyung and f(x)‘s Luna have released a new song and MV in collaboration with Jung Hyung Don! The trio released the song under the unit name LUNDONPH YONGJUNKO.
The music video was shot in Dublin, Ireland, and shows Junhyung and Jung Hyung Don as they enjoy the beautiful scenery and visit different places in the city. The song itself, entitled “Tell Me It’s Ok,” is a medium-tempo pop song that features Luna’s sweet, clear vocals, as well as Junhyung’s signature rap. The song was composed by Junhyung himself.
The song and MV were made as part of the show “Hitmaker” with Jung Hyung Don and Junhyung. The lyrics of the song are meant to be an encouragement for those beginning new paths in life. The song seems especially symbolic for Junhyung since this is the first song he has released since BEAST left Cube Entertainment after seven years of being signed with the label. Jung Hyung Don has also endured some difficulties lately and only recently returned to the entertainment industry after taking a break for mental health reasons. As such, the lovely song and music video seems to be a statement of healing and encouragement.
Although Luna doesn’t appear in the MV, she appeared on the most recent episode of “Hitmaker” where Junhyung stated that she was the best female vocalist with whom he has ever worked!
