Veteran singer Baek Ji Young, also called Baek Z Young, has made a comeback after almost three years!
With the release of her new mini-album and its title track called “We,” the well-respected artist has officially returned on October 14th KST.
“We” features musician G.Gorilla who is part of a South Korean glam rock band Eve and has boasted collaborations with other well-known singers like IU and Wheesung.
The accompanying music video for “We” shows the story of a man devastated over the loss of his lover, expressing his intense longing to be with her again.
Baek Ji Young’s emotional vocals set the gut-wrenching mood of the video and heightened the reflection of the distress from the main character.
Her latest mini-album entitled Reminiscence offers a tracklist consisting of six songs. Her return set high expectations not only because of the considerable time to took between releases but also due to the fact that many notable names were involved in her album’s creation.
Songwriters Atone and Lee Hyun Seung, singer-songwriter SWJA, and producers Bbalganyangmal were all included in the talented team that put together her music.
After her comeback, Baek Ji Young plans to host a nation-wide solo tour called “BAEK Stage” that will have stops in Daegu, Cheongju, Busan, and Seoul . It is scheduled to start in Suwon on November 23rd.
