WATCH: B.I.G Makes Mighty Return After 2 Years In “Flashback” Music Video

On November 23rd at 6 p.m. KST, boy group B.I.G have returned with their first new song in 2 years!

“Flashback” is an upbeat EDM-based house genre song with a strong drum rhythm and impressive bass. The melodic composition from the members’ vocals creates an energetic and pleasing sound. Lead rapper Heedo took part in the writing process to convey the group’s sincere feelings into the lyrics which contains a message of hope for those who are going through hard times.

B.I.G’s single album Mr. Big : Flashback is filled with the members’ desire to grow bigger and give courage to people by telling them “you’re a person who has great influence on someone.” Lead up to the album drop, the group began releasing episodes of a comeback documentary through their official channels – revealing the honest process of working on the new song.

B.I.G debuted in 2014, gaining their most-prominent success through the group’s “Global Cover Project” where the boys went viral with their renditions of Arabic pop songs “La Bezzaf,” “3Daqat,”“LM3ALLEM,” and “Boshret Kheir” which led to the development of a huge following from Arab K-pop fans and their label releasing Arabic versions of their tracks “Hello Hello” and “Illusion.”

In 2019, the group visited the United Arab Emirates and performed in Abu Dhabi. They even met Saudi Arabian Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud at South Korea’s Blue House alongside President Moon Jae In. Later that year B.I.G won the “Koreans who make Korea Shine Worldwide Award” in the Culture and Arts Achievement category, recognizing the group’s contribution to promoting K-pop to the Arab region. Just last month, B.I.G were appointed as a goodwill ambassador for the Korea-Arab Society.

The group recently teamed up with fellow GH Entertainment group 3YE to form the co-ed project group 777 (Triple Seven) who made their debut in August. Meanwhile, “Flashback” marks the first B.I.G comeback as a quartet following the departures of Benji and Minpyo.
