Following eight years as ASTRO‘s resident “cutie maknae,” Yoon Sanha finally makes his solo debut with his first mini-album DUSK on August 6th at 6 p.m. KST!
The title track “Dive” is a dark and brooding alternative R&B pop song with a mysterious and cinematic atmosphere. It is centered on a strong kick and heavy bass sound with magnificent synth pads and Sanha’s unique vocals.
Lyricist Enzo — who has frequently collaborated with ASTRO both in group and solo work — penned the lyrics to “Dive.” While producers Benjamin Shubert, Emile Ghantous, and Leila ghantous @NUMBER K composed the song.
The music video for the title track is a moody portrayal of loneliness and hopelessness, which is a stark contrast to the bright image commonly associated with Sanha. DUSK contains six songs including album opener “Yeowoobyul” which Sanha solely wrote and co-composed himself.
