On September 23rd KST, ARTMS‘ Heejin dropped a new version of her solo song, “Algorithm!” It was originally released in 2023 as the title track of Heejin’s mini-album, K, and is now reintroduced in English Rock.
“Algorithm” is a breakup song with a classic 80s sound about how reminders of a failed relationship keep popping up despite the desire not to dwell on the past. HeeJin worked with Jaden Jeong, Artronic Waves, Safira K, and Yi Saebom to write the lyrics while Artronic Waves and Yi Saebom composed the track.
ARTMS is currently on their “2024 ARTMS World Tour <Moonshot>” which kicked off last July and will span 30 shows in 15 countries. Heejin first performed the new version of “Algorithm” during her solo stages for the event and decided to release it on music platforms due to good feedback.
