It’s been fourteen years since her debut as a member of Apink and now Namjoo is back with her second solo single Bad!
Released on March 18th at 6 p.m. KST, the single’s title song “Bad” is an ambitious piece with a strong message of not caring about the negative presumptions others have of you. It defies how people label it a bad thing to be authentically and confidently yourself.
It is a pop dance-based genre track that features a big band-like catchy brass arrangement which becomes more colorful as it develops. Meanwhile, solid rhythm instruments over an 808 bass help elevate Namjoo’s strong vocals and powerful performance to new heights.
“Bad” was written by Jo Yoon Kyung, Lee Yijin, and Bang Hye Hyun of Jam Factory and composed by Yoon Jong Sung and YELO both of MonoTree.
Namjoo’s second single Bad contains two other songs including the opening track “Mirror, Mirror” which features narration by world-renowned actor Daniel Henney.
