AlphaBAT has finally returned to the Korean music scene!
On August 8th KST, a music video was dropped for their single titled “원해 (Get Your Luv).” The track was originally dropped in July of this year as a single album, along with one other song. However, AlphaBAT returned to attach a summer-themed music video as a gift for fans. The song takes on a tropical house genre, matching the “summer fun” vibe well.
AlphaBAT originally debuted on November 14th, 2013. Their early songs such as “AB City” and “Tantara” were fairly popular at the time, crossing over into the millions in YouTube views. Following a lack of activity, in November 2016 the group moved their promotions from debut company Simtong Entertainment to Japanese label Jakol Corporation.
After the move, there were multiple “unofficial” departures of the nine original members, along with some of them starting their military service. With the addition of one new member, the four remaining began promotions in Japan in December of 2016. Debut and remaining member E:psilon is Teen Top member Ricky‘s older brother.
“Get Your Luv” is AlphaBAT’s first Korean comeback since “Tantara” was released back in February 2014. It has not been confirmed whether they will promote this new single on music programs or not.
