WATCH: AKMU Shares Symbolic “NAKKA (Fall)” Collaboration MV With IU

On July 26th at 6 p.m. KST, AKMU released their first collaboration album and a music video for the title track “NAKKA (Fall)” which features IU!

Written by Chanhyuk and inspired by the 2017 movie “The Greatest Showman,” the song contains a message of reassurance that even if you you fall from the top and is surrounded by chaos, someone will be there to catch you. Millenium arranged the song and teamed up with Chanhyuk to compose the track.

Next Episode, is the duo’s first collaboration album and features an impressive line-up of artists consisting of IUZion.TBeenzinoJannabi’s Choi JunghoonCrush, and Sam Kim. According to AKMU, the seven tracks they prepared for the listeners aims to provide a feeling of “transcendal freedom” to give them comfort during troubling times. A music video for “Battlefield (Hey kid, Close your eyes)” was pre-released last July 20th KST.

This is their first EP in two years after dropping Sailing back in September 2019 while a digital single called “Happening” was released in November last year.
