On July 21st at noontime KST, YG Entertainment duo AKMU introduced the music video for their collaboration with veteran singer Lee Sunhee!
“Battlefield” paints the senseless violence adults engage themselves in through the perspective of children and losing sight of what really matters in life. It sings about being surrounded by chaos and terror but also of continuing to walk forward in pursuit of something they love.
Its harrowing music video was directed by Hobin, displaying children caught in the crossfire of war and a survivor stumbling into an opportunity to live an innocent life as kids of their age deserve to be.
AKMU’s Next Episode, slated to drop on July 29th at 6 p.m. KST, is the duo’s first collaboration album and will feature a loaded line-up of artists consisting of IU, Zion.T, Beenzino, Jannabi’s Choi Junghoon, Crush, and Sam Kim. This is their first EP in two years after dropping Sailing back in September 2019 while a digital single called “Happening” was released in November last year.
