AKMU is finally back!
On November 16th KST, the popular brother-sister duo from YG Entertainment released their newest single, “HAPPENING.” The catchy tune sinks into the minds of fans with just one listener, as do most of the great songs from AKMU (also known as Akdong Musician). However, the lyrics to the track are easy to relate to as they sing of a love that brought pain instead. Unable to have been a lasting love, they compare their fleeting relationship to a simple “happening” instead.
The music video shows the duo as they go through normal scenes in subways and in restaurants. However, internally we get a glimpse inside their mind that shows how they feel dead inside and like they’re fighting against a world that is turning to dust at their touch.
“HAPPENING” was composed by by AKMU’s own Lee Chanhyuk, as well as Millennium and Sihwang. The lyrics were also written by Lee Chanhyuk.
