On May 13th at 6 p.m. KST, aespa unveiled their pre-release track “Supernova” along with its music video!
The song is the first of two title tracks slated for the group’s comeback and is a minimal dance track based on heavy kick and bass. It references the group’s lore through a message that describes “the beginning of an event that opens a door to another dimension” like a supernova.
Hitmaker KENZIE penned the lyrics and co-composed its melody alongside Paris Alexa and Dwayne “Dem Jointz” Abernathy Jr.
aespa’s upcoming full-length album Armageddon will feature 10 songs in total. According to their agency, it will drop on May 27th KST and expand aespa’s multiverse beyond reality and the digital world.
