WATCH: aespa Confronts Hate In “Life’s Too Short” MV

On June 24th at 1 p.m KST, SMTOWN‘s youngest group released a music video for the English version of “Life’s Too Short (English Ver.)” ahead of their comeback!

The mid-tempo pop song addresses the illogical hate and gossip that other people like to spew online. It questions the reasoning behind the behavior and sings about choosing to carry on with the things that make them happy while ignoring all of the negativity. The track was written, composed, and produced by Uzoechi EmenikeBecky Hill, and Sam Klempner.

The group’s upcoming second mini-album, Girls, will contain six titles in total including “Girls,” previously released “Illusion,” “Lingo,” the Korean version of “Life’s Too Short,” and “ICU.” SM Entertainment has revealed that as of June 9th KST, the album has already received over one million stock pre-orders which marks aespa’s best numbers yet!

aespa performed “Life’s Too Short (Eng. Ver.)” for the first time during their Coachella stage back in April where they also entertained the crowd with “Black Mamba,” “Next Level,” and “Savage.”
