24K+, who officially debuted in November last year, is back with a refreshing tune aimed at the summer season!
On August 13th at 12 p.m. KST, the group released its first digital single along with the music video for its title track.
“SUMMER TIME” is a tropical and reggae genre song that — as the name suggests — is perfect for the summer. The smooth and softly echoing vocal sound adds a relaxing charm to the track, which serves as a cool sea breeze in the middle of the passion and hard work of our daily lives.
24K+ has built its reputation as a talented idol group by producing all of its songs since the debut mini-album Roller Coaster. Lead vocalist Imchan wrote and composed “SUMMER TIME” while rapper Xiwoo also participated in writing lyrics.
Not only that, but Imchan took the lead in planning, shooting, and editing the music video in addition to designing the jacket image and title logo.
24K+ consists of three Korean members and two Japanese members. The group has a large Japanese fan base due to their steady performances in Osaka and Tokyo since before their debut. In particular, member Takeru‘s videos on the 24K+ official TikTok are very popular with over 5 million views.
Unfortunately, Japanese member Yuma is not participating in the “SUMMER TIME” promotional activities because of health reasons. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him return to the group soon!
