A new group has officially hit the K-pop scene!
On April 13th KST, 1THE9 made their official debut with the music video “Spotlight.” The group was recently formed as part of the idol survival show “Under 19.” The show began with 57 different trainees and ended with the top nine finalists who would eventually form 1THE9.
“Spotlight” is the title track off the group’s mini-album, XIX. The fun track has an upbeat rhythm and Latin influences that give it a bouncy, catchy beat that sets off the group’s choreography perfectly. Meanwhile, the video itself shows the members in a variety of settings around school as they eventually come together and show off their skills.
