On August 5th at 6 p.m. KST, project group 1THE9 took their final bow with the sentimental music video, “Count.”
Marking this bittersweet moment, the song takes the listener back to the times spent together as a team, the fans who walked with them through the whole experience, and a wish to be reunited in the future. Members Seunghwan, Sungwon, and Doyun all took part in writing the lyrics.
The group’s fourth and last mini-album which is aptly called Good Bye 1THE9 has five songs including their version of first mission songs on the survival show that formed the group. It aims to take the listener back to the milestones that were amassed by the boys and their fans throughout their journey.
1THE9 is an experimental team born out of MBC‘s competition reality show “Under 19.” They debuted in 2019 with the mini-album XIX and the title track, “Spotlight.” They are officially set to disband on August 8th KST.
