Starting off as the first Asian film to ever win “Best Original Screenplay,” it then went on to win “Best International Feature Film,” “Best Director,” and “Best Picture”! Not only did it become the first Korean film to ever win an Oscar, it also became the first-ever foreign language film to win the coveted “Best Picture.”

As per usual, Twitter was the place to be Sunday night for fans of cinema as users watched the awards show and tweeted out their feelings of joy and despair at the evening’s various winners.
