TVXQ’s Yunho is back!
On April 20th KST, the singer finished his military service and was honorably discharged. He enlisted in the military in July of 2015 and served for a total of 21 months as part of Yangju’s 26th Mechanized Infantry Division.
Upon his discharge, over a thousand fans waited to welcome him, despite the rainy weather. Hundreds of members of the press waited to photograph and interview the star as well. He took a moment to address the crowd, saying that things felt weird, almost as if time had stopped while he was in the military. Upon stepping back into the limelight though, he said it felt like time was starting to tick again.
He also mentioned his fellow group member Changmin, who is currently serving in the military as well, “I was able to work hard here thanks to the fans who believed in TVXQ. I think Changmin will do just as well. Please look forward to the complete TVXQ. This is only the beginning.”
