Are you curious about the popular idol group SEVENTEEN? Are you not sure which of their music videos you should watch first? Fear not soon-to-be-Carat, we have got you covered with our countdown of SEVENTEEN’s ten best music videos. This list does not include their sub-unit music videos or special videos. However, we may just do a list of those as well! For this list, our criteria consists of popularity of the MV, how catchy the track is, and vocals, rapping ability, choreography, and visuals. So, let’s slip into the Diamond Life and check out our list below!

10. “CLAP”

Kicking off our list is Seventeen’s “Clap.” Colorful and rather hilarious, this music video gave us jaw-dropping visuals, as well as an easy choreography to follow. Everyone’s part was on point and perfectly executed. Charming and witty lyrics gave the song a morale boost, and their upbeat melody made everyone dance along.

9. “Oh My!”

Coming in at number nine is “Oh My!” With its dreamy concept and out-of-this-world choreo, “Oh My!” has a simple, yet catchy, melody that had all Carats ready to slip into dreamland. The choreo is fun and intricate, and we get to see Jun and The8 with more lines! This song is definitely one of the best bops of 2018.

8. “Smile Flower”

Next on our countdown is a sweet ballad for Carats. “Smile Flower” shows clips from the group’s tours, as well as their daily life in the studio and flashbacks to when they were trainees. Although there is no choreo for this song, every member’s vocals shine through and express their love for their fans.

7. “BOOMBOOM”

Quite the jam, “BOOMBOOM” is next on our list for its fast-paced tempo and slick choreo. The humor in this MV is apparent as they try to break into a facility for reasons unknown, but they mess things up along the way. Dino gets a sick rap break down, and no one can forget S.Coups’ epic “biorhythm woop woop.”

6. “Pretty U”

Ah yes, we’ve come to “Pretty U,” the song that got them their first win on a music program. Not only was their stage choreography legendary, but that last five octave note by Seungkwan was the icing on top of a killer-sweet hit. The MV shows them mucking up the town with graffiti invitations to a party they have at the end of the video. This song is darling, adorable, and one of their first major hits.

5. “Adore U”

SEVENTEEN’s debut song “Adore U” is everything you want in a K-pop song! Funky, fresh, and adorable with an easy-to-follow choreography, catchy melody, and psychedelic MV, this song will forever be the best debut bop of 2015. The rap styles are fun, the vocals are on point, and overall, they portray a sense of youthful freedom throughout the MV. If you’re new to Seventeen, this is the MV to start with!

4. “Mansae”

It isn’t “High School Musical” that takes the fourth spot on our list, it’s SEVENTEEN’s “Mansae.” Its coming-of-age romantic theme had fans screaming “Mansae” everywhere. With humor and antics galore, the MV was the first to fully show SEVENTEEN’s type of humor. With a powerful choreo and playful vocals, the song is one of Seventeen’s most classic hits. Many Carats say this was the song that made them slip into the Diamond Life!

3. “THANKS”

Taking the third spot our list is the lovely “Thanks,” a song dedicated to Carats. Showing their gratitude to fans, the song is a beautiful, upbeat ballad about their appreciation for Carats’ support over the years. You get to see their daily life, as well as a perfectly in-sync choreo that makes you feel like you’re flying. Gorgeous vocals and chic rapping carry the song and dazzle the listener. It for sure made Carats grateful in return!

2. “Very Nice”

Known as SEVENTEEN’s breakthrough song, “Very Nice” is what made SEVENTEEN a household name in Korea. A jazz-pop blend with a dangerously hip choreo, this song put the group on the map to global stardom. If you have a Carat friend, chances are they made you watch this MV first since it is their most powerful title track. Stunning visuals and an over-the-top MV made SEVENTEEN’s “Very Nice” a dance craze!

Before we reveal our number one SEVENTEEN MV, there are some honorable mentions we need to include. First is “Love Letter,” which was a title track from their Love and Letter album and shows their romantic side as they write letters to Carats. Another honorable mention is “Healing,” also from Love and Letter (repackage version), which features the boys having a great holiday.
