It turns out that Super Junior‘s Cho Kyuhyun left fans a surprise before he left to fulfill his military service on May 25th!
Kyuhyun took part in recording a song for the OST (Original Soundtrack) of the KBS2 weekend drama “The Best Hit.” Kyuhyun joins a star-studded cast of artists in the OST, including BoA, Mad Clown, Yoon Mirae, Kim Minjae, Yoonha, Cha Cha, Park Kyung, Punch, and Galbingo. Kyuhyun recorded it ahead of time, supposedly a mere ten days before officially enlisting.
“The Best Hit” is a drama focusing on idol entertainment and the young life of the early twenties. Its cast features amazing actors such as Yoon Si Yoon, Lee Seyoung, Kim Minjae, Cha Taehyun, Yun Seonha, and Cha Eunwoo of ASTRO. It’s currently playing each Friday and Saturday at 11 p.m. KST.
Kyuhyun is known for his incredible wit on variety shows and for his strong, sweet vocals that go hand-in-hand with drama OSTs. The title of the song and the episode in which is will be released is not yet known, but fans are already taking to social media to share their anticipation.
