This edition of “Songs Just For YOU” is dedicated to the lovely Taeyeon of SNSD! March 9th marks her birthday, so we hope she enjoy her special day!
Kim Taeyeon first became known as a member and the leader of the legendary girl group Girls’ Generation (SNSD). She is also known for her strong vocals, beautiful visuals, and amazing solo career.

1. “Fine”
The song starts from an acoustic guitar introduction and is followed by her beautiful voice. You can feel the pain and sadness from the very start. The track talks about trying to move on from a relationship in the past. You can’t really tell when are you going to feel okay again, but you keep smiling outside and trying to show you’re fine. However, inside the memories of the past let you know you’re really not “Fine” after all.

2. “All With You”
“Scarlet Heart: Ryeo” is a drama that broke all of our hearts time after time (If you didn’t cry, I honestly don’t know what is wrong with you!). So, adding this song to the already sad drama would make you really cry a river. The lyrics tell the object of their affection that love will always find the way if they listen to the sincerity of the heart. The willingness to give their love as long as they are together is a moving message.
I challenge you to listen to this song without crying! Chances are you will feel touched by the message of the song (and the video).
3. “11:11”
This song tells a story about remembering the moments with someone in the past while slowly moving on after the break up. With time, the pain does not hurt anymore as it did before and you start to believe that someday you will get over it completely. Only time will tell, don’t you agree?
4. “Why”
Taeyon is known for her ballad style tracks but this song is different from her usual songs. The track gives off a fun, summer vibe, letting fans bask in the cute video and new concept. Meanwhile, Taeyeon asks a lot of question about life. but you can see in the music video that she is having fun on the road of self-discovery.
5. “I” feat. Verbal Jint
This is my favorite among Taeyon’s songs because it is a song about self-empowerment and how beautiful our life is. There will be people who will judge us without knowing the real “us” inside, but we should not be affected by their words. It is not our fault that they can’t see the true beauty in us. Even after the hardships and obstacles we encounter in life, we should never give up because it just part of our journey and a preparation for us to soar high!
