Song Jae Rim has been confirmed for a new drama!
He joins leads Kim Min Seok and Nam Gyu Ri in JTBC’s new drama “Bloody Romance” (literal translation). “Bloody Romance” tells the love story between South Korea’s world star Lloyd, portrayed by Kim Min Seok, and North Korean female soldier Baek Young Ok, portrayed by Nam Gyu Ri.
Song Jae Rim will take on the role of Sung Jae Hoon, a North Korean special forces soldier. On the outside, he appears to be the perfect urban man with an impeccable Seoul accent and sophisticated appearance. In reality, he is still a person who pursues a higher ideal than capitalism. He’ll heighten the tension as an attractive villain who threatens inter-Korean harmony.
Directed by Park Kwang Chun and written by Kwon Hee Kyung and Park Hyun Jin, “Bloody Romance” is set to premiere in the first half of next year.
