Sleepy and Lee Guk Joo are the latest couple to join the cast of “We Got Married.”
It was recently announced that Solar of MAMAMOO and Eric Nam would be leaving the show. As their replacement, Sleepy and Lee Guk Joo will be joining the cast as the newest “married” couple.
Lee Guk Joo is a popular comedian, DJ, and actress who gained international recognition with her appearance on the hit SBS reality show “Roommate.” Sleepy is a member of the hip-hop duo Untouchable, managed by TS Entertainment. Despite the duo being active since 2006 and enjoying a steady amount of success with Korean fans, it wasn’t until recently that Sleepy began to gain more attention with an interational audience through his appearances on various variety shows.
The future “We Got Married” couple already has a number of fans, mostly due to their chemistry and funny bickering as seen on other shows like “Radio Star” and “I Live Alone.” As a matter of fact, Sleepy has expressed a romantic interest in the popular comedian, saying his interest in genuine.
Lee Guk Joo has expressed her doubts as to the sincerity of his feelings however, even talking about it on a recent episode of “Happy Together.” She said she was afraid to respond to his feelings because she didn’t know if they were sincere. She said she thought he perhaps just had big aspirations to become more famous through their variety show appearances, so she was being cautious about opening her heart. She admitted she had been hurt in the past due to similar situations and was trying to guard her heart from now on.
