SISTAR‘s Soyou and EXO‘s Baekhyun have finally released their new collaboration track, “Rain.”
The song began quickly climbing the charts as soon as it was released. Less than half a day after its release, the track had achieved all-kill status in Korea, beating out yesterday’s all-kill track, “Spring Day” from BTS.
The song is a beautiful ballad that perfectly suits the voices of Soyou and Baekhyun, two of the most popular vocalists in Kpop. Their smooth vocals capture the melancholy melody and lyrics.
The music video doesn’t feature the singers themselves, but shows a young schoolgirl going through a variety of situations by herself. In spite of the rain and loneliness, she keeps trying to smile as sunshine does shine through.
