SISTAR‘s Dasom and artist 40 have released a remake of the song “You & I.”
The song was originally sung by Acoustic Collabo with a totally acoustic, indie-folk sound. Dasom and 40 use jazz instruments and soulful vocals to change the track into something more modern, transitioning seamlessly into R&B and jazz beats.
The song was released as part of Starship Entertainment‘s program “Vintage Box Project,” where a Starship artist collaborates with a lesser known artist and remakes an older song. The project is meant to shine a light on underrated artists, as well as great songs that never received the recognition they deserved.
