SHINee To Hold Japanese Concert As Scheduled + Members’ Handwritten Letters

 SHINee will continue their group activities with their Japanese concert in February.Due to recent events with the passing of Jonghyun, the SMTOWN group decided to pause their schedules in respect for the beloved member. After a long discussion, SHINee has decided to hold their upcoming concert in Japan as planned. In short, “SHINee World The Best 2018 ~From Now On” in mid- to late-Feburary will continue as normal.
Accompanying their decision, each member has written a handwritten letter. Courtesy of Soompi, Onew could not help but say, “I have many shortcomings, but I will do my best for SHINee.” Key added in his letter that “This is what Jonghyun would have wanted for us, and I believe that keeping our promise to fans and showing everyone a great performance is the most SHINee-like thing for us to do.”

Taemin has also shared his thoughts: “I want to keep my promise with fans and I don’t want to say goodbye to SHINee’s future members,” while Minho has expressed, “I know there will be some who are happy with our decision and some who are concerned. We ourselves don’t know which is the right decision to make, but for now, we believe it’s right to keep the promises we made with you.”
