SHINee is back once more! This time, the popular SMTOWN group presented a new image and concept for the music video “Tell Me What To Do.”
The title track is off the album, 1 and 1, a repackage of their fifth studio album 1 of 1. The song is a medium tempo track with heavy EDM and R&B influences, showcasing the members’ vocal talents instead of the dance skills for which they are primarily known. SMTOWN stated, “The title track “Tell Me What To Do” is an emotional R&B song that talks about a couple in a long-term relationship trying to overcome difficulties they face.”
The music video itself features the members leading an empty life, partying with friends inside an abandoned building. Meanwhile, Minho and Taemin are fighting over a girl. The members all sport new styles and images, with a laid-back spin on the youthful, modern streetwear in which they are dressed.
The repackaged album has a total of five new songs and was released on November 14th.
