Seo Ye Ji and Kim Soo Hyun are confirmed to be starring together in the upcoming K-drama “Psycho But It’s Okay.”
Kim Soo Hyun (“My Love From Another Star”) was confirmed for the project earlier on, but the casting for his female co-star wasn’t revealed until today on February 27th. Seo Ye Ji, the lovely actress from “Lawless Lawyer” and “Quantum Physics,” has been cast opposite Kim.
The drama follow the story of Moon Kang Tae, a community health worker at a psychiatric ward. He lives on a limited income and has never experienced love before, yet he has the ability to empathize with others. He crosses paths with Go Moon Young, a writer of children’s books who has been blessed with great talent and popularity as an author. However, she has antisocial personality disorder and comes off abrasive and rude.
“Psycho But It’s Okay” is written by Jo Yong, the mind behind the drama “Jugglers.” The producer of the series is Park Shin Woo, known for his work on dramas like the incredibly popular series “Encounter” starring Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo.
Meanwhile, both Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji are labelmates at Gold Medalist. This will be their first time starring opposite each other in a drama. In addition, it marks Kim’s long-awaited return to TV after finishing his military service, apart from a cameo in “Hotel del Luna.”
“Psycho But It’s Okay” will air on tvN in the second half of the year.
