ROMEO’s Youngest Member Kangmin Announces Military Enlistment Date

On May 19th, Kangmin, the youngest member of the Hunus Entertainment boy group ROMEO, announced to fans that he will be starting his mandatory military service on May 25 KST.

Kangmin shared the news to the group’s fans, known as Juliets, through a heartfelt post on Instagram, written in both Korean and Japanese.

Hello, I’m the youngest member of Romeo, Kangmin. It’s sudden, but I’m going to join the army on May 25th. I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you in advance. I was worried about how to talk, but I thought it would be right to say it before it was too late, so I wrote this. Once in a lifetime enlistment! I wanted to make a wonderful trip so decided to join the army as a special guard. I will come back with a better and more mature look after finishing my military service safely!! Please take good care of Romeo while I’m away! Lastly, Juliets, thank you always and I love you.

Kangmin is the third member of ROMEO to enlist after members Milo and Kyle enlisted in 2018 and 2019, respectively. ROMEO debuted in 2015 with the Sweetune-produced dance track “LoveSick”.

We wish Kangmin all the best during his military service!
