Sunday’s concert was just as pumped as Saturday’s with a line-up of today’s hottest stars.

The concert kicked off when Monsta X wowed the audience with Wonho and Shownu‘s powerful solo dances and Jooheon‘s smooth rap. After performing “All In,” Monsta X moved to another stage, allowing other fans in the venue to see them closer. The group’s intro contrasted with their performance as the members spoke with smiles and friendly auras. I.M talked in English for fans and given the group’s rising popularity, cheers were heard from various ends of the venue. “Hero” and “Trespass” followed and the audience could not handle all of the breathtaking expressions as they sexily gave it their all.

ASTRO appeared next with “Breathless” and danced their way to another stage mid-song. Fans exploded as they asked everyone to scream during their intro. The six members were irresistibly cute and joyful, spreading their energy to all of the audience.

A short segment of “Cat’s Eye” was performed with “Hide & Seek” afterwards, bringing an even more light and happy atmosphere as the bright yellow and green lights shined on the adorable boys.

Attention was directed towards a small segment of “Touchdown” and “Cheer Up” from TWICE, the popular new girl group from JYP. Based off the cheers and “sha sha sha” fanchants, TWICE does not seem like any ordinary rookie group. They continued with their introductions in sporty, casual attire and made fans swoon with their hearts and smiles. The girls finished with “I’m Gonna Be a Star” and their debut song, “Like Ooh-Ahh” with delicate and sweet poise.

Wows were mouthed when the talented Davichi performed their three songs, “8282,” “Don’t Say Goodbye,” and Descendants of the Sun OST, “This Love.” The ballad singers belted out whenever they had the chance and induced screams every single time. Their performance was much different from others as the background music did not overtake their voices.

Next was Eric Nam who finally got his own stage at KCON. He started with “Can’t Help Myself” along with a special appearance by ASTRO’s Jinjin for the rap segment originally by AOMG’s LOCO. Eric’s live singing rang throughout the venue and continued flawlessly as he went into “Good For You.” During his intro, he introduced KOLAJ as his duet “Into You” was next. f(x)‘s Amber appeared with Eric for “I Just Wanna” although she wasn’t expected to perform for Sunday as well! Screams were heard as they took over the venue.

TWICE came out for a special cover of Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” and got the audience clapping and grooving to the beat. Monsta X also performed their rendition of “Moves Like Jagger” from Maroon 5. The group was in sync as expected and charmed fans with their noticeably low and manly voices whenever they shouted, “Jagger.”

Within moments, TTS appeared and glimmered in their bright red dresses for “Twinkle.” During their introductions, fans joined in with Taeyeon and Seohyun who shouted birthday wishes for Tiffany. The girls switched to “Holler” and brought out the hidden fanboys in the sea of KCONers. Things slowed down when they transitioned to a ballad, “Only U” and then brought back screams during their 3-member rendition of “Party.”

Finally, the most anticipated group of the night appeared as MC Eric Nam and Amber prepared fans for BTS. The venue exploded in deafening screams when the members came out. An immense number of fans stood up just for BTS who shot off with their epilogue, “Young Forever” and title track “Fire.” The fluid performance of “Save Me” led to their intro, which brought out even more energy when Rap Monster asked if we were “ready to turn up” for the next upcoming songs. “Cypher Pt.3” showcased the talents of the group’s 3 rappers as the other members accompanied them with “Turn Up” shouts and whooping. BTS ended with “Dope,” leaving fans with no disappointment whatsoever.

Given the number of attendees Saturday and Sunday, KCON was highly anticipated as a chance for memories and cheering for the many dazzling performances given each night. The expectation was achieved when K-pop fans were heard losing their voices by the end of the concert. KCON certainly made for a good weekend and gave thousands of fans concert withdrawals for the days to follow.
