The date of release for BTS‘s “MIC Drop” remix has been pushed back.

BTS’s American partners have reevaluated BTS’s appearances and promotions in the U.S. and requested for the postponement of BTS’s “MIC Drop” remix. BigHit Entertainment agreed to change the release of BTS’s “MIC Drop” remix to November 24th, a week from the original release date on November 17th. The release date is after BTS’s U.S. promotional period.

Fans saw that since the day is still a Friday, making the song on Billboard‘s HOT100 chart is still possible. Fans also saw that it was a logical decision as with the hype after BTS’s appearances in the U.S., new fans would be given time to look up more on the group.

The remix of “MIC Drop” with American DJ-producer Steve Aoki and rapper Desiigner is the first of BTS’s collaborations with both artists.
