Great news for Red Velvet fans! The popular girl group from SMTOWN has announced their first U.S. fan meeting!
On March 21st, SubKulture Entertainment revealed that the talented Red Velvet would be heading to Chicago to perform for their fans. The fan meeting will be held on April 29th at the Rosemont Theater in Chicago, Illinois. This marks their first fan meeting in the U.S. and their first solo show for the American audience. It appears this will be the only stop.
This is not the first SMTOWN group that SubKulture has brought to the U.S. In fact, the legendary SHINee came to Chicago for a fan meeting in 2016. After the highly successful event, SHINee later announced an official U.S. SHINee World concert tour, also a production of SubKulture. These past events are leading fans to wonder if SMTOWN is also testing the waters with this fan meeting before ultimately planning an official Red Velvet tour in North America.
