Netflix has some fabulous original Korean dramas for you to enjoy in October!

The weather has become a little chillier and the nights are getting a little longer. While we spend our time snuggled up indoors, why not try out some of the new K-dramas and films coming to Netflix this month?

“Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol”

“Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” is a romantic TV drama with 16 episodes. It follows the story of Goo Ra Ra, a beautiful but immature and mischievous pianist who hits rock bottom when her family loses all of their money. Making her way into the countryside, Goo Ra Ra stumbles across La La Land, a piano academy in a small village. Fate has her cross paths with Sun Woo Joon, a carefree but warm-hearted individual who has been happy to make ends meet through his part-time jobs.

Starring: Go A Ra, Lee Jae Wook, Kim Ju Hun

“Start-Up”

“Start-Up” is a romantic TV drama with 16 episodes. This brand new K-drama tells the story of young people passionately pursuing their dreams in the world of start-up companies. Each of the characters has their own venture but the group quickly becomes intertwined after they begin their journey to success at a place called “Sand Box.”

Starring: Bae Suzy, Nam Joo Huyk, Kim Seon Ho

“Private Lives”

“Private Lives” is a crime TV series which has 16 episodes. If you are into crime comedies, you should definitely check out this drama! The show follows a group of con artists who uncover a sinister surveillance scheme. Up against the government and a malicious corporation, the characters must interfere in order to keep their lives from turning upside down.

Starring: Seohyun, Ko Kyung Pyo, Kim Hyu Jin

BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky

BLACKPINK is the highest-charting female K-pop group of all time and this documentary looks at the never-before-seen moments from the band’s journey. Following Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, each member reflects on their incredible fame and the challenging climb to the top.
