NCT‘s Jung Jaehyun will be appearing on a new acting project soon!
On November 2nd KST, reports came out about Jaehyun participating in a remake of “Bungee Jumping of Their Own” which was a film originally released in 2001. SM Entertainment confirmed the rumors in response.
“Bungee Jumping of Their Own” starred Lee Byung Hun as Seo In woo while Lee Eun Ju played In Tae Hee. Both were university students who met fatefully and fell in love shortly after. Their romance was ill-fated and left Seo In Woo in the wake of a tragedy.
After 17 years after losing her, Seo In Woo ends up as a married man and a father. He works as a high school teacher and meets a student, Im Hyun Bin (Yeo Hyun Soo), who shares striking similarities with his late girlfriend.
NCT’s Jaehyun was cast to act as Im Hyun Bin in the drama adaptation of the movie. Choi Nak Kwon, the original producer, will work alongside director Kim Jong Hyuk to create the 16-episode series. Filming is set to begin in January and is scheduled to air on Kakao TV in late 2022.
