The highly anticipated drama “My Sassy Girl” has released new stills from on set!
On May 16th, the drama’s star Joo Won quietly began his military enlistment. As a result, people are anticipating the drama even more! This will also be his first historical role.
The drama is based on the hit 2001 Korean film “My Sassy Girl,” starring the lovely Jun Ji Hyun and the hilarious Chae Tae Hyun. The current drama has a twist thought— it will be set in historical times.
Joo Won (“Yong Pal”) will be playing the character of a cold, smart, handsome scholar who is known to be “Joseon’s national treasure.” Oh Yeon Seo (“Shine or Go Crazy”) will be portraying as the fearless Princess Hye Mung of Joseon Dynasty Era. CNBLUE’s very own Lee Jung Shin (“Cinderella and the Four Knights”) will be playing the second lead role of Kang Joon Young, an easygoing, charismatic man in the palace.
The drama will air on SBS on May 29 every Monday and Tuesday at 22:00 KST.
