Colors, particularly fandom colors, have been a staple in the Korean pop industry dating back to first-generation groups like H.O.T, G.O.D, Sechs Kies, and more. They are used to easily distinguish celebrities and their fans, giving a more personalized feel when sharing their support.
In recent years, such colors are utilized on fandom merchandise and joint concerts where various artists come to perform. With this, we present you with a few fandom colors that will make you gasp with awe!
1. SEVENTEEN – Rose Quartz and Serenity
Announced in 2016, SEVENTEEN‘s fandom color was well-received during its announcement due to its great color combination and color scheme. Also, the color has great attribution to the fandom name, “CARAT.” We can see great usage of the fandom colors on fan merch such as the group’s official lightstick called the “Carat Bong” which boasts of its great aesthetic that many fans immediately fell in love with.

2. NU’EST – Dark Teal and Vivid Pink
Boasting as Pledis‘ first-ever boy group and eventually becoming the icon of chart reversal and group reversal, NU’EST announced its official fandom color last 2018 – six years after they started their journey in the industry.
Using the color Dark Teal and Vivid Pink, NU’EST utilized their initial color of bright pink from their debut logo with the addition of dark teal which was first used for promotions as sub-unit NU’EST W and created a color combination that emits an air of elegance and sophistication.
The fandom color had been utilized in the group’s concept and merch. Notably is the Bandit-bong or NU’EST official lightstick.

3. VIXX – Navy and Shining Gold
Announced in 2017, VIXX official fandom colors are one of the subtle yet pleasing color combinations. Using the color Navy and Shining Gold, Starlight’s (VIXX official fandom name) boasts the beauty of their fandom color most commonly on their lightsticks.
Also, VIXX had released a song entitled “NAVY and SHINING GOLD” – a dedication for their fans on their third full album EAU DE VIXX back in 2017.

4. SF9 – Fantasia Hologram
Certainly one of the more unique fandom colors is SF9‘s Fantasia Hologram! Using a hologram effect with various colors, the resulting mix is something that would make one gasp in awe. VLive‘s fourth-generation fanship displays how the official colors look when incorporated with many different mechs and how enticing they can be to both fans and casual on-lookers.
