MONSTA X Gets Special Shoutout From Blue House After Meeting With South Korean President In Norway

It looks like President Moon Jae In is as impressed with MONSTA X as Monbebes are!

On June 12th, the South Korean president attended the “Voyage to K-pop” event at the Oslo Opera House in Norway as part of his official state visit to the region. The musical event was held to appreciate the culture and music of Korea, from traditional music to modern K-pop. Several artists were invited to attend the event as performers, including people like singer-songwriter Jang Jae In and idol group MONSTA X. The event and state visit were held as part of the 60th anniversary of South Korea and Norway’s diplomatic relations.

After the performance, the Blue House (the official residence of the South Korean president) shared several pictures of MONSTA X with the President and his wife, as well as several pictures and tweets of their performance. The Blue House then retweeted a post from MONSTA X’s own social media and added their own special message saying, “It was nice to meet you in Oslo, Norway MONSTA X. Everyone thank you for showing a good performance. We look forward to [more] great performances.” The Blue House also shared that the group performed songs like “Alligator” and “Dramarama” and got the crowd engaged as well.

The Blue House also shared a picture of Jang Jae In and the other special guests who were invited, thanking them for their participation and performances.

Check out some of the pictures below that were shared by both the Blue House and MONSTA X. The group also took a picture with King Harald V of Norway.

Congratulations to MONSTA X, Jang Jae In, and the others who were invited to perform at this special event!
