Mnet will be launching “High School Rapper 2” in 2018.
After its first season, Mnet decided to continue the show for a second round. Auditions for “High School Rapper 2” will be held following college entrance exams in Korea this year (November 16th).
Season one of “High School Rapper” aired back in February of 2017, showcasing the talents of high school students interested in pursuing a career in the music industry. In addition to hip-hop hopefuls, some well-known people participated as well. NCT‘s Mark Lee and Brand New Music‘s MC Gree (also known for being the son of famous MC Kim Gura) were both participants in the show as well. Mentors for the contestants included Jessi, Mad Clown, Swings, and more.
“High School Rapper 2” is scheduled to broadcast in early 2018.
