It’s a great week for K-pop albums! The new albums by f(x)‘s Luna, SHINee‘s Jonghyun, and girl group EXID all placed in the Top 10 on Billboard’s World Album Chart.
Luna’s first mini-album “Free Somebody” is ranked #3 on the chart. Jonghyun’s album “She Is” is on the chart for the second week in a row and currently ranked at the #8 position. EXID’s album “Street” is ranked at #9 on the chart.
With all the strong comebacks in recent weeks, being able to place in the Top 10 on this Billboard chart is a great accomplishment! It’s also quite the feat for the K-pop industry to have 3 albums on the chart at the same time. With upcoming albums from groups like EXO, we are sure to see more K-pop groups hit the chart as well.
