On October 17th KST, Korean group Stray Kids, Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko, and American guitarist Tom Morello teamed up to present “Come Play” from the official soundtrack of “Arcane!”
The song heralds the rising tensions in “Arcane” as it prepares to unveil its second season. Ashley Fulton, Kill Dave, Kami Kehoe, Young Miko, Tom Morello, and Mauro wrote the theme song while Tom Morello, Kill Dave, and Sebastien Najand were behind its production.
“Arcane” is an animated series based on the popular game, League of Legends. It aired its first season in 2021 and was met with resounding success. It follows the story of two estranged sisters who fell into very different paths and became adults filled with guilt and resentment.
The plot is primarily driven by the constant friction between the citizens of the wealthy city of Piltover and the harsh impoverished environment of Zaun, casting a stark light on classism and prejudice.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, XG, and KISS OF LIFE to whoever cared to listen.
