On July 23rd KST, Stray Kids released their digital single “SLASH!’
The thrilling EDM Trap song is inspired by the movie “Deadpool” with Stray Kids’ production unit 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han) taking charge of its creation alongside producer VERSACHOI. It will be featured in “Deadpool and Wolverine” starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman and will hit Korean theaters tomorrow, June 24th KST.
Stray Kids and the “Deadpool” stars began their interesting relationship with the group performing a Deadpool-inspired stage on Mnet‘s idol performance show “Kingdom: Legendary War” in 2021. Ryan Reynolds took notice and Hugh Jackman eventually joined in to interact. Both actors even made a special appearance in Stray Kids’ recent comeback music video for “Chk Chk Boom.”
Stray Kids will be appearing at the “Lollapalooza Chicago” in Chicago, USA on August 2nd (local time) before gearing up for their “Stray Kids World Tour [dominATE]” which will begin on August 24th-25th KST with a show in Seoul. The group has previously announced stops in Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, Macau, Thailand, and Indonesia. More locations are set to be revealed so stay tuned!
