Rising solo artist Keumjo (formerly of 9MUSES) has returned with her second digital single “Light” which was released on May 30th at 6 p.m. KST.
The song is an emotional ballad composed by RUNY who also worked on the singer’s debut single “Fingertips.” It is about finding someone who serves as a ray of hope, coming to the rescue when you are lost and wandering in the dark.
“Light” is filled with deep feelings and a luxurious vocal performance and was featured in a pivotal scene of the new Korean BL drama, “Where Your Eyes Linger.” Keumjo also acted in the said series, playing the role of a teacher.
The former main vocalist of 9MUSES made her solo debut in January this year with the sultry R&B track “Fingertips” which showed her charms as a singer. After gaining a lot of experience through various stages and opportunities as a musical actor, she is slowly breaking out of her image as a girl group member by showcasing her talents as an artist.
