K-pop artists Dreamcatcher, AleXa and IN2IT have come together with the brand Millenasia to create Millenasia Project, releasing a special song entitled “Be The Future”. The song was released on May 1st KST with the hope of overcoming the pain caused by the COVID-19 virus through the power of music.
The song features bright and catchy melodies intended to encourage youth around the world to unite against the virus by following health and safety guidelines. IN2IT members Yoo Jiahn and Jeong Yeontae contributed to the song’s hopeful and uplifting lyrics, which are written and performed mainly in English.
All proceeds from the song will be donated to the UNESCO COVID fund to help many sufferers around the world.
AleXa previously worked with Millenasia on the brand’s launch with an interactive “Choose Your Own Adventure” Twitter story. The idea was unlike anything seen before in K-pop and was inspired by the cyberpunk universe featured in her debut music video. Meanwhile, IN2IT also collaborated with AleXa by inviting her to be the group’s special guest on their IN2ITxION tour of India in 2019.
