Double S 301 has released a new single in honor of their 12th anniversary since debut!
On June 8th, the day of their anniversary, the SS501 sub-unit released the song “Hello Mello.” The song was previously released on the solo album of member Heo Young Saeng. However, for the anniversary single, fellow unit members Kim Kyu Jong and Kim Hyung Jun participated as well. Although Kim Hyung Jun is currently in the military, he appears to have lent his vocals to the track before enlisting.
The cute remake of the song is upbeat and happy, a perfect song for the group’s anniversary! Although there is no official MV for the song, we have included the audio below.
The song is the title track off their new single album, Unison Volume 1. It’s unclear what else the group has in store for fans, but we hope additional volumes are soon to follow!
SS501 was one of the most important Kpop groups of their time and each of the members are currently successful solo artists as well. They never disbanded and are currently only on hiatus. However, the sub-unit has still been active in promotions and releasing new music as a trio.
