Following last month’s exciting announcement that Boyfriend would be returning as BF, members Donghyun, Hyunseong, Jeongmin, Kwangmin, Cats Drink Coke (Youngmin), and Minwoo released the single “Ending Credit” on May 26th KST!
The song was released exactly 10 years after the group made their debut in 2011 as Starship Entertainment’s very first boy group.
“Ending Credit” is a heartfelt ballad, written, and composed by BF’s Donghyun and Jeongmin along with producer 9F who participated in composition and arrangement. The emotional track presents the vocal and rapping strength of each member while revealing a newfound energy and growth of being reunited as a team.
BF also celebrated the milestone anniversary with a special on-tact fan meeting called “I’m Your Boyfriend” on Naver VLive. The six members performed many of their hit songs, played games, answered fans questions, and expressed their happiness at their reunion.
The members credit the fans’ love and support as the reason for BF getting back together, thanking them for all the precious and unforgettable memories, expressing that they want to continue making more in the future.
Leader Donghyun also spoke about the title of the song “Ending Credit.” He explained that the reason why “END” is blurred out on the album cover is because this is not the end and instead, “ING” represents the group’s continued journey.
