Lee Jong Suk and Suzy are set to co-star in a new drama entitled “While You Sleep” (working English title).
This drama marks the first time the two Hallyu stars will play opposite each other in a drama. The plot will follow Suzy as a young woman who is able to foresee unfortunate events in her dreams, while Lee Jong Suk plays an up-and-coming prosecutor who tries to prevent the bad events from coming true.
Both of the actors have worked with writer Park Hye Ryun before. Suzy will be reuniting with the writer for the first time since “Dream High,” while Lee Jong Suk worked with the writer in both “I Hear Your Voice” and “Pinocchio.” The main PD for the new drama is Oh Choong Hwan, the producer of the hit drama “My Love From Another Star” and “Doctor Crush.” With this dream team of Hallyu stars and crew, it looks like the drama is already destined to be a hit.
The filming for the drama will begin in early 2017. It will begin airing later in the year on SBS.
