On November 4th, YG Entertainment announced Lee Hi’s fifth debut anniversary on their official blog.
Lee Hi thanked her fans as she reminisced her past since she started her career saying, “It feels like yesterday that I stood on my first stage with my debut track. But it’s already my fifth anniversary, which feels strange but also feels like time has gone by too fast. I was happy because of the people who have liked me and my music from when I was a teenager until now, when I was 22 years old. I cannot express how much I love and thank you all.”
She promised to work harder to make good music and be a better singer.
Lee Hi was a runner-up on the first season of “K-pop Star”and later joined YG Entertainment in 2012. She debuted with her song “1,2,3,4.” She is also known for her hit songs like “Hold My Hand,” “It’s Over,” and “Rose.” She won different awards and had retained her mark as a solo female artist since then.
Meanwhile, Lee Hi is preparing for her comeback, which is expected to be released at the end this year featuring H1GHR MUSIC solo artist G.Soul. She has been busy choosing songs for her producer overseas.
