KCON LA 2024 To Broadcast Live For The First Time On Primetime TV In The U.S.

This year’s KCON LA is making history!

As announced on July 11th by event organizers CJ ENM, the iconic K-pop festival — which began in 2012 — will air live on American primetime TV nationwide on The CW Network.

The groundbreaking partnership between the two companies marks the first time a K-pop performance show will broadcast live on U.S. national television.

Meanwhile, the three-day festival is taking place on July 26th-28th at the Crypto.com Arena, LA Convention Center, and Gilbert Lindsay Plaza, with various fan activities and live performances during the day and spectacular “M Countdown” concerts each night.

On the final night of the festival, “M Countdown” will air live on The CW nationwide on Sunday, July 28th at 5 p.m. PT (8 p.m. ET). The concert lineup includes NCT 127, Jeon Somi, STAYC, ZEROBASEONE, ZICO, and the first performance by “I-LAND 2” winning girl group, izsa.
